The award is among the region’s most prestigious honours, recognising leading institutions in sustainable development and social responsibility based on international standards.
The award ceremony was held in the presence the Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, of Shaikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who honoured distinguished institutions across various sectors for their outstanding role in advancing sustainability.
The award was received by the Director of Crime Prevention and Head of the Maan Programme, Ali Ameeni who affirmed that this achievement comes as a result of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, within the framework of strengthening national efforts to promote community prevention values and a culture of partnership.
The recognition highlights Maan Centre’s exceptional contributions to enhancing community awareness and consolidating the principles of partnership and social responsibility through awareness programmes targeting students, parents, and community institutions, thereby helping build a safe and sustainable social environment.
The Arab Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Award, organised by the Arab Network for Corporate Social Responsibility, serves as a benchmark for encouraging institutions to take proactive steps toward a sustainable future and reinforce their environmental and social responsibilities. It is the first regional platform dedicated to honouring organisations that embrace social responsibility and sustainability practices.
