Northern Governor Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al Madani chaired a meeting of the governorate's security committee, attended by Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter, Deputy Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Walid Al Buflasa, and several members of the security committee.
The Northern Governor commended the security personnel for their role in upholding public order and underscored the necessity of sustained awareness initiatives. He highlighted the importance of these community partnerships with various directorates of the Ministry of Interior in cultivating a culture of responsibility among the citizens and residents.
The meeting addressed key strategies to alleviate traffic congestion at some junctions during peak hours. Technical proposals from the Ministry of Works were evaluated, alongside broader development initiatives designed to enhance traffic flow and infrastructure efficacy across the governorate.
The Northern Governor concluded the meeting by emphasising the necessity of sustained, effective collaboration between security agencies, civil bodies, and the community. He affirmed that such synergy is fundamental to realising security objectives and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
