Deputy Capital Governor Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Jaafar Al Sayed, attended a cancer awareness event, organised by Woman This Month and GDN magazines in collaboration with several entities, to mark World Cancer Awareness Month. The event was held at the Water Garden City, with widespread community attendance and participation.
During the event, the Deputy Capital Governor reaffirmed the Capital Governorate’s dedication to aligning with global humanitarian and health observances, supporting awareness initiatives, and fostering a culture of social responsibility, altogether as part of broader efforts to enhance quality of life and promote community partnership.
He commended the event’s impactful health messages on early cancer detection, underscoring the governorate’s commitment to fostering partnerships with civil society and the private sector in support of community welfare and sustainable development.
