The Interior Ministry announced that, as part of the ongoing efforts by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science to protect society from the dangers of drugs, the directorate arrested, in five separate cases, ten individuals of different nationalities, aged between 21 and 42, for possessing approximately 12 kilograms of narcotics valued at more than BD176,000.
Investigations carried out in coordination with Customs Affairs led to the identification and arrest of the suspects, with the confiscation of the seized substances. Legal proceedings are underway, and the cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
