In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, a number of officials from the Ministry of Interior planted trees at various ministry premises across the Kingdom’s governorates.
This initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to implement the objectives of the National Afforestation Plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035, in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
