The Interior Ministry announced that, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain maritime safety and address violations, the Coast Guard carried out a joint inspection campaign across several marine areas, in cooperation with the Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The campaign aimed to ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and to raise awareness among workers and seafarers about the importance of following safety guidelines and official instructions. The operation resulted in the detection of several violations, and necessary legal measures were taken against those involved.
The Coast Guard affirmed that such campaigns will continue in cooperation with relevant authorities, as part of a collaborative approach to strengthening maritime security and promoting public safety.
