Deputy Capital Governor Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed participated in the Walkathon for the Blind, organised by the Friendship Association for the Blind at Water Garden City. The walkathon was held on the occasion of International White Cane Day, with broad community participation from residents and civil society organisations.
The Deputy Capital Governor emphasised the Capital Governorate's commitment to adopting and supporting initiatives targeting various segments of society, particularly people of determination. This stems from its interest in activating their role and integrating them into society, achieving the principle of community partnership and consolidating the values of solidarity and support among members of society.
The Chairman of the Friendship Association for the Blind, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Capital Governorate for its continuous support of the association's initiatives, praising the cooperation of various official and civil society entities in making the event a success, which witnessed broad community participation.
