The Deputy Northern Governor, Colonel Abdullah Ali Maantar, took part in the “Family Health Forum,” organised by the Bahrain Special Olympics in cooperation with several health and community organisations. The participation comes as part of the governorate’s role in supporting community-focused initiatives and promoting healthy lifestyle concepts.
The forum featured comprehensive medical check-ups for attendees, along with awareness lectures on proper nutrition and the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles, in support of national efforts to raise health awareness among all community members.
He emphasised that the Northern Governorate will continue to support health and community programmes that improve the quality of life and foster public health awareness. He noted that these efforts align with the governorate’s recognition as a “Healthy Governorate” under the World Health Organisation initiative.
He also commended the cooperation between government and private entities in ensuring the event's success, affirming that continued community partnership remains a key foundation for enhancing services and achieving sustainable development.
