Deputy Chief of Public Security Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the US Fifth Fleet, Vice Admiral Curt Renshaw, at the Coast Guard Base.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Chief welcomed the US official, praising the solid cooperation and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America in various fields.
The meeting discussed areas of joint cooperation and coordination in the maritime and security domains, as well as reviewing several topics of mutual interest, particularly efforts to enhance maritime security in the region.
