In a new accomplishment that reflects the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing approach toward modernisation, institutional development, and innovation, the Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior has won two awards at the GCC GOV HR & Youth Awards 2025, held in the United Arab Emirates. The Human Resources earned first place in the “Best Directorate in Digital Transformation in the Government Sector” award and second place in the “Best Happiness Initiative in the Government Sector” award.
On this occasion, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Major General Adel Abdullah Amin, affirmed that this achievement comes as a result of the support and directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance the capabilities of the Ministry’s personnel, thereby improving performance levels in both the security and administrative fields in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. He noted that this success reflects the Human Resources commitment to providing high-quality electronic services and achieving tangible results consistent with the latest technological developments and the Ministry’s dedication to advancing Bahrain’s digital transformation journey according to international standards.
He further explained that Human Resources is keen to promote a culture of satisfaction within the workplace by introducing top-tier initiatives that adhere to global standards. This ensures higher levels of institutional happiness, productivity, and creativity in the work environment. Human Resources also adopts best practices and technological tools to develop all services, aiming for leadership and sustainability in enhancing operational efficiency, increasing job loyalty, and exceeding expectations in service delivery.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources expressed his appreciation for the sincere efforts of the entire team, emphasising that winning these awards serves as an additional motivation to continue accelerating the pace of digital transformation, thereby strengthening institutional performance efficiency and enhancing the quality of services provided.
