On the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue 2025, His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today met with His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Interior Minister welcomed the Saudi official. He praised the deep-rooted historical ties and fraternal relations between the two brotherly kingdoms, as well as their mutual interest in strengthening and expanding areas of cooperation.
He pointed out that the convening of this international and strategic forum reflects Bahrain’s commitment to contributing to global peace and security, in line with the Royal Vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that the Kingdom’s approach emphasises promoting peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and openness for the security and benefit of all.
HE the Interior Minister also praised the active participation of HRH Prince Turki in the Manama Dialogue, expressing appreciation for his outstanding contributions and initiatives aimed at advancing regional and global peace based on respect for human rights and international law.
