The Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa took part in the Border Management and Technologies Summit, where he presented a paper titled “Integration in Border Management in the Kingdom of Bahrain.” The presentation reviewed Bahrain’s national efforts to develop an advanced border management system that keeps pace with modern security and technological developments.
He emphasised that addressing these challenges requires strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise with brotherly and friendly countries, alongside intensifying joint efforts and unifying border control procedures through coordinated action among relevant national agencies. Such efforts, he noted, contribute to enhancing security measures that effectively confront risks and threats.
The Deputy Chief concluded by underscoring that the ultimate goal of integrated border management is to facilitate the smooth movement of individuals and goods while maintaining full control over any illegal activities that could affect the security and safety of the Kingdom of Bahrain
