His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa praised the Royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in meeting citizens’ needs, as well as the directives of the government through coordination with the relevant authorities following the announcement of the 2025–2026 camping season.
HH the Southern Governor expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, for his continued directives and unlimited support for holding the camping season, and his keenness to provide all necessary services to ensure that the season is organised according to the highest standards.
This came as the Southern Governor chaired a coordination meeting to initiate the organisational mechanism for the camping season within the framework of security preparations for the 2025–2026 camping season. Officials from relevant authorities attended the meeting.
He confirmed that this year’s camping season will run from 5 December 2025 to 25 March 2026, noting that registration will be open from 20 to 30 November through the “Khayyam” initiative via the “Aljunobya” application. He added that the Southern Governorate continues its efforts to enhance cooperation and community, security and environmental partnership to ensure a safe and well-organised camping season for all visitors and campers. He stressed the importance of obtaining information from official media sources and the Southern Governorate’s communication channels.
HE the Southern Governor underlined the need for campers to comply with the regulations and conditions, to abide by the approved season map, and to follow the relevant camping guidelines and precautions, to ensure the safety of campers and visitors and to provide a safe season for all in line with security, environmental and organisational requirements.
It is worth noting that the Southern Governorate provides communication channels for enquiries and feedback on the 2025–2026 camping season via the email campers@southern.gov.bh, through the live chat feature on the “Aljunobya” application, or via the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul).
