Customs Affairs President meets representatives of global companies on the sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2025

President of Customs Affairs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met with representatives of several international companies and institutions on the sidelines of the Gateway Gulf 2025 Forum.
During the meeting, the President of Customs affirmed that Customs Affairs is committed to providing various customs facilitations to the private sector, contributing to the smooth flow of trade and the movement of goods and services across customs ports. He highlighted that these efforts support the national drive towards achieving sustainable economic development.
He noted that Customs Affairs continues to enhance its systems and procedures in line with international best practices, aiming to create a stimulating and attractive business environment that strengthens Bahrain’s position as a regional logistics and trade hub.
The meeting also reviewed the facilitations offered by the Kingdom of Bahrain for establishing and developing investment projects, in addition to discussing the programmes and successful experiences of global companies in the field of e-commerce.
