The Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Somchai Chulajata.
During the meeting, the Customs President welcomed the envoy and praised the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Thailand, as well as their constructive cooperation across various fields. He emphasised the importance of enhancing customs cooperation and exchanging expertise to develop customs operations and align them with international best practices.
For his part, the Thai Ambassador expressed appreciation to the Customs President for the warm reception, affirming his country’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain, particularly in customs-related areas, in a way that serves the shared interests of both friendly nations.
The meeting also discussed several topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance customs cooperation to achieve common goals.
