Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence (NPRA) His Excellency Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Hotels Group, Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo.
At the beginning of the meeting, the NPRA Undersecretary welcomed Mr Fawzi Kanoo and the members of the Board, affirming the importance of cooperation and coordination between both sides in supporting the tourism movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain and promoting economic development programmes. He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior is keen to develop its work mechanisms and facilitate procedures for national institutions operating in the tourism sector, thereby enhancing Bahrain’s status as a distinguished tourist destination.
For his part, Mr Fawzi Kanoo expressed appreciation for the efforts carried out by the Ministry in supporting the tourism sector, praising the level of services provided by the NPRA, and the facilities it offers to encourage investment and boost tourism.
