President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects Silvio Schembri to discuss ways of enhancing joint customs cooperation.
During the meeting, the President of Customs welcomed the visiting minister and his accompanying delegation, praising the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Malta, as well as the constructive cooperation between the two countries across various fields. Discussions also covered topics of mutual interest, particularly the exchange of expertise and experiences in customs work.
For his part, Malta’s Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President of Customs for the warm reception, affirming his country’s keenness to strengthen cooperation frameworks with Bahrain, especially in customs and economic fields, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two friendly countries.
