Deputy Interior Minister Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel met with Morocco’s Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, on the sidelines of the 93rd session of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), held in Marrakech.
During the meeting, the Deputy Interior Minister praised the longstanding and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco, particularly in security and policing fields. He noted the steady development these ties continue to witness in support of shared interests.
For his part, the Moroccan official expressed his deep appreciation for the close relations between the two kingdoms, emphasising the mutual commitment to further strengthening cooperation in a manner that supports the security and stability of both countries.
The meeting also discussed areas of cooperation and joint coordination, in addition to reviewing opportunities to enhance security capabilities through specialised training programmes and the exchange of expertise, contributing to raising efficiency levels and reinforcing joint security and policing efforts.
