The Watani magazine, published by the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture, organised a visit to the Saudi Bahraini Institute for the Blind, in partnership with the General Directorate of Traffic, the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the National Ambulance Centre
The visit comprised an introductory presentation on Watani magazine's mission, alongside organised recreational and educational activities for the children. A special Braille edition was presented, and a lecture on safe transportation, addressed the roles of traffic police, proper vehicle seating, bus protocols, and procedures for passengers who fall asleep during a journey.
The General Directorate of Civil Defence delivered fundamental safety guidance for emergency response, while the National Ambulance Centre explained the role of ambulances and procedures for emergencies, with all instruction appropriate to the children's comprehension.
