Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa attended the graduation ceremony for participants in the training programmes organised by the Royal Academy of Police, which included 149 trainees from various Interior Ministry directorates and partner national institutions.
On this occasion, the Undersecretary commended the institutions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, aimed at supporting and developing human capital by adopting international standards across all fields of work.
He noted that the Interior Ministry continues its efforts to advance its human resources through academic and professional qualification, enabling personnel to carry out their security duties with efficiency and professionalism, in line with the Ministry’s development and modernisation strategy.
This, he said, contributes to strengthening the security system and enhancing its readiness under all circumstances.
The Undersecretary highlighted the importance of the training programmes in refining participants’ skills and raising their professional competence, which in turn enhances the quality of field performance. He also praised the vital role played by the Royal Academy of Police, along with the efforts of its staff in preparing, implementing, and organising the programmes according to modern training methodologies that meet the needs of security work.
For his part, the Commandant of the Academy, Major-General Brigadier Fawaz Hassan Al Hassan expressed his appreciation to the Undersecretary, affirming that the Academy is committed to strengthening institutional partnership with security authorities and the government sector through analysing training needs and identifying gaps between field realities and training systems. He noted that the Academy has adopted an integrated training model based on simulation, scenario-based exercises, blended learning, and an evaluation system that reflects the real impact of training in the workplace.
At the end of the ceremony, the Interior Ministry Undersecretary honoured the top-performing participants in the training programmes, in addition to recognising the training staff in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the success of the programmes and achieving their intended objectives. He wished all graduates continued success in their careers.
