The Interior Ministry’s shooting team achieved advanced positions during its participation in the 54th National Day International Air Shooting Championship for Clubs, held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from 26 November to 1 December 2025.
Policewoman Nouf Khalil Al-Dosari won first place in the 10m rifle category, while in the 10m pistol category, Policewoman Moza Abdulrahim Abdullah secured first place, and Policewoman Badriya Ibrahim Al Atawi claimed second place, in a competition that featured the participation of various Arab teams.
On this occasion, the President of the Public Security Sports Association, Col. Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, expressed his pride in the team’s outstanding results. He affirmed that these achievements are an extension of the support provided by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in enhancing the capabilities of athletes and representing the Kingdom of Bahrain at the highest levels in regional and international competitions. He also highlighted the continuous follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, in strengthening the readiness of the Ministry’s sports teams and motivating them to secure leading positions in international championships.
