The General Directorate of Civil Defence received a number of children from the Maan Center for Special Education on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
This visit comes as part of the General Directorate of Civil Defence’s keenness to strengthen community partnership and implement initiatives and activities that contribute to promoting a culture of prevention and safety, in addition to empowering people with disabilities and providing them with support.
The visit included several awareness and training activities, where a simple explanation of safety and evacuation procedures was presented, along with a display of firefighting and rescue equipment. Participants were also given the opportunity to interact with Civil Defence specialist teams in a way that enhances their confidence and provides them with a clear understanding of their vital role in protecting lives and property.
