To mark Bahrain’s National Days and the Accession Day of His Majesty the King, the Muharraq Governorate is inviting citizens and residents to attend the Historical Photo Exhibition, to be held at the Muharraq Community Hall in Busaiteen starting Sunday, December 7, at 3:00 p.m. The exhibition will run until Tuesday, December 9. It will be open on Sunday only in the evening, while on Monday and Tuesday it will receive visitors in two sessions: from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The exhibition will showcase a rich collection of 300 rare historical photographs documenting various aspects of life in Muharraq Governorate, including traditional professions, heritage landmarks, and everyday scenes that reflect the depth and authenticity of the governorate’s history.
On this occasion, the Governor of Muharraq, Salman bin Isa Bin Hindi Al Mannai, affirmed that this event comes as part of the governorate’s efforts to highlight national heritage and introduce younger generations to the governorate’s longstanding history. He noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity to promote national identity and preserve the cultural and historical legacy that characterises the Kingdom, praising the fruitful cooperation between institutions and local communities in ensuring the success of this national event.
