Mohammed Ahmed of the Interior Ministry’s triathlon team secured second place in the Bahraini category and third place in the GCC category during his participation in the Middle East Ironman 70.3 Championship, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The President of the Public Security Sports Association, Colonel Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to the Ministry’s athletes to achieve sporting excellence. He also highlighted the close follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, for the sports teams during their participation in various championships and competitions, both locally and internationally.
He praised the achievement of athlete Mohammed Ahmed, emphasising that this accomplishment reflects the competence and readiness of the Ministry’s athletes and their commitment to attaining the best results.
