His Highness Southern Governor and the Chairman of the Security Committee, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, chaired the 12th Security Committee meeting for 2025. Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayat and other officials attended the meeting.
HH the Southern Governor praised the efforts of the committee members throughout the year, highlighting the successful outcomes of various security initiatives implemented in the Southern Governorate. He credited these achievements to the support and guidance of His Excellency, the Interior Minister General, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in enhancing security and safety across the region.
The meeting included detailed plans to maintain high security standards during the upcoming celebrations and to ensure smooth traffic flow. HH the Southern Governor emphasised the importance of collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate to address community concerns effectively.
He also reviewed ongoing efforts to enhance safety and security during the camping season and commended effective coordination among the relevant entities. He emphasised the need for ongoing security and awareness campaigns to promote community partnerships and ensure camper safety.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees expressed appreciation for HH the Southern Governor's proactive approach to implementing security and community initiatives, reinforcing a commitment to public safety throughout the Southern Governorate.
