The Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in a panel session titled “Security and Safety: Strategic Visions and Partnerships to Address Challenges,” held as part of the Third International Scientific Forum on Security and Safety. The forum was organised by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, in cooperation with the High Commission for Industrial Security in Riyadh. It featured a distinguished group of regional and international specialists.
During the session, the Deputy Chief of Public Security affirmed that participation in such specialised scientific forums reflects the Ministry of Interior’s strong commitment to adopting best practices and enhancing international cooperation, in support of ongoing efforts to advance security and safety in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He underscored the importance of firmly establishing a culture of security and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge among relevant authorities at both the regional and international levels, thereby enhancing preparedness and strengthening the capacity to address risks in line with modern scientific approaches.
The Deputy Chief further noted that building strategic partnerships is a central pillar for confronting future challenges, given the opportunities these partnerships create to develop operational mechanisms, improve risk-response systems, and enhance national capabilities in security and safety.
