The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Eric Giraud-Telme, and Head of Commercial Operations at AP-HP International, Christophe Hodée. The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, Major-General Adel Abdullah Ameen.
At the outset of the meeting, the Chief welcomed the visiting delegation. Discussions covered areas of mutual cooperation and explored ways to exchange expertise and leverage the latest international practices to develop the National Ambulance services and emergency medicine, strengthening rapid-response capabilities and enhancing service quality.
During the visit, the delegation toured the National Ambulance Centre, where they were briefed on the mechanisms for receiving emergency calls, rapid response plans, and the role of the first responder as a key pillar of early intervention. They also reviewed the latest equipment and technologies used in national ambulance vehicles.
