His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today met with HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, and several senior officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, which took place on the occasion of Bahrain Police Day, His Royal Highness recognised the advancement of the Kingdom’s security system across various levels, and ensured its readiness and effectiveness in supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of the MOI's personnel, particularly the Bahrain Police, in carrying out their national duties to safeguard the Kingdom’s security and its institutions.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised that the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements are based on comprehensive national efforts, supported by a robust and integrated security system.
His Royal Highness also reflected on the sacrifices of fallen servicemen in the service of their country, which are etched into the Kingdom’s history to inspire future generations and to remember their sacrifice.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his appreciation to all MOI personnel, led by HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla. His Royal Highness emphasised that their efforts continue to enhance community security and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents, in line with the Kingdom’s aspirations, and wished the MOI and all its employees continued success in their patriotic endeavours.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to implement the latest technologies and policing practices to enhance security, uphold the law, and strengthen the values of justice.
For his part, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla expressed his gratitude for the Royal Trust, which has enhanced the Bahrain Police’s role in safeguarding security. His Excellency also conveyed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s continued support and directives guiding the Ministry’s future projects to strengthen the security system and enhance its overall capabilities. His Excellency affirmed that His Royal Highness’s support for the Ministry’s personnel is appreciated, and that his efforts to enhance the Ministry’s efficiency continue to drive its development.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
