In celebration of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day, the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, and the accompanying national events, HM the King issued a decree granting a special pardon and releasing 963 inmates, including those convicted of various cases who have served part of their sentences, as well as a number of individuals subject to alternative sentencing.
The pardon reflects His Majesty’s longstanding commitment to providing those included with an opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s comprehensive development under the leadership of HM the King.
