His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Al Ameri.
HE the Interior Minister welcomed the envoy, praising the deep-rooted historical links and close relations that unite the two countries and their peoples, and which continue to witness sustained development thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. He underlined the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and coordination, particularly in the security field.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of security cooperation and several topics to advance joint work between the two countries.
