The Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received the Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Refining, Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery and the Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Tazweed, Engineer Basma Al Mahroos. The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and the Deputy Chief of Police, Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, the Chief welcomed the officials and emphasised the importance of developing mechanisms for joint work and coordination to support the security and safety system and achieve the highest levels of readiness in protecting vital facilities.
The meeting also reviewed the 3D marine survey project being implemented by Bapco Energies within the Kingdom of Bahrain’s territorial waters in cooperation with the Coast Guard. Participants discussed project aspects and explored coordination and cooperation to ensure implementation in accordance with the highest safety and security standards.
For his part, the CEO of Bapco Refining expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chief for the warm welcome, commending the Ministry of Interior’s efforts in maintaining security and stability and its effective role in securing vital facilities, while affirming the company’s keenness to strengthen areas of cooperation.
