The Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the “Sons of the Nation 3” event, organised by the Northern Governorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior’s Human Resources Directorate, as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National celebrations.
The event was held at Liwan Centre in the presence of Shura Council Member Sabeeka Khalifa Al Fadhala, Northern Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, and Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, Major-General Adel Abdullah Ameen.
On this occasion, the Chief affirmed that the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee overseeing the implementation of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna), represent a fundamental pillar in promoting loyalty and belonging and in consolidating the national identity.
He noted that these instructions are part of a comprehensive national vision that places the Bahraini citizen at the forefront of priorities and emphasises the importance of building national awareness grounded in pride in the homeland and its leadership, as well as commitment to responsibility and discipline.
The Chief praised the role of the “Sons of the Nation 3” initiative in reinforcing the values of loyalty and belonging, describing it as a model of purposeful community initiatives that contribute to deepening national awareness, strengthening pride in Bahraini identity, and entrenching the principles of good citizenship, in line with the objectives of the National Plan.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination across entities to promote national identity and consolidate loyalty and belonging through joint initiatives and programmes. He noted that institutional integration is a cornerstone of national efforts' success and the achievement of their goals.
For his part, the Northern Governor expressed his appreciation to the Chief for attending the event, underscoring the importance of continuing to organise such national activities, given their effective role in strengthening national cohesion and consolidating the values and principles on which Bahraini society is founded.
At the conclusion of the event, which was attended by officials, senior officers, and Ministry of Interior personnel, the Chief honoured the supporting entities for their contributions to the success of the “Sons of the Nation 3” initiative.
