The Interior Ministry’s show jumping team claimed first place in the National Day Grand Competition, organised by the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation and held at the Military Sports Union Arena in Al-Riffa.
On this occasion, the Supervisor of the team, Brigadier Abdulaziz Mayouf Al-Rumaihi, extended his highest congratulations to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, noting the close and continuous follow-up by Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, of all sports teams during their participation in local, regional and international championships, which has played a key role in achieving outstanding sporting accomplishments.
He also expressed his appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation and to Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee, for the excellent preparation, organisation and close supervision of the arrangements that ensured the success of the competition, as well as to the Military Sports Union for their efforts in preparing and hosting the event.
