The Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested several Asians, aged 33 to 45, for their involvement in theft of electrical cables and wires, with the stolen items valued at approximately BD 60,000.
It explained that upon receiving reports of these incidents, CID immediately launched searches and investigations, collected information and evidence, and identified the suspects, who were arrested in possession of stolen items and the equipment used to carry out the thefts. Legal procedures are underway to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
