The Ministry of Interior announced that a patrol of the General Directorate of Traffic responded this afternoon, on 10 January, to a traffic incident on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway near Al Qadam area.
The incident involved a 25-year-old Bahraini citizen who, in cooperation and coordination with the traffic patrol present at the scene, managed to stop another vehicle whose 34-year-old Bahraini driver had suffered a sudden medical emergency while driving. The first driver positioned his vehicle in front of the second to bring it to a complete stop, preventing any serious traffic accident.
The traffic patrol secured the area to prevent injuries or major collisions, while the National Ambulance provided first aid to the second driver at the scene and transported him to the hospital for necessary medical treatment.
