The Interior Ministry announced that the International Affairs and Interpol Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, in coordination with the Public Prosecution and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, has successfully extradited an Asian national from a brotherly country to enforce a final court ruling issued against him for embezzling movable assets owned by a company. The operation was conducted as part of efforts to strengthen international security cooperation to track and arrest individuals wanted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Directorate explained that the extradition was completed after an international notice was issued, based on an international arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution of Bahrain, in connection with a case filed by the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.
The International Affairs and Interpol Directorate confirmed that, in accordance with the law, all necessary legal procedures were taken against the wanted individual, and he was handed over to the competent security authority.
