A number of personnel from the National Ambulance Centre responsible for receiving emergency calls participated in advanced specialised training courses aimed at ensuring the quality of emergency service dispatch. This comes as part of the centre’s commitment to developing the system for providing first aid services to the community, in line with the latest global medical practices and standards in this field.
These courses were conducted in collaboration with the Security Geographic System Division and in partnership with Priority Dispatch Corps. Participants were introduced to concepts of quality in medical calls, methods for verifying their application across different types of incoming calls, as well as measuring performance and quality levels using approved systems and applications.
The training programmes aim to enhance the efficiency of national personnel and raise professional readiness, ensuring the delivery of advanced and integrated first aid services. These services are based on rapid, safe, and highly efficient responses from the very first moments of receiving emergency calls, in line with the National Ambulance Centre’s plan to invest in human resource development and elevate the level of emergency services provided.
