His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Sunday the Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Dr Mohammed bin Ali Kuman, in the presence of the Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, HE the Interior Minister welcomed the official and commended the General Secretariat of the Council for its role in advancing joint Arab security action and following up on the implementation of decisions issued by Arab Interior Ministers.
The meeting reviewed ways to support and further develop mechanisms of joint Arab cooperation across various security fields, and discussed several topics on the Council’s agenda for its upcoming meeting and their importance in strengthening security cooperation among member states.
For his part, the Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for the meeting and for the views presented by HE the Interior Minister regarding the development of Arab security cooperation and coordination.
