His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, commended the master plan for the project to revitalise and redevelop Awali City, a Royal initiative by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The plan was presented by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies, the project was acknowledged as a pivotal development, reflecting the Kingdom of Bahrain's strategic vision while preserving its historical and architectural legacy.
On behalf of the Southern Governorate, HH the Southern Governor expressed profound pride in HM the King's patronage of this unique national project. He affirmed that the royal directives provide the framework of ongoing efforts to develop and modernise the various cities and villages of the Kingdom while preserving their historical and cultural identity. He further commended the exemplary leadership of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, whose efforts constitute a national model in integrated urban planning, blending tradition with contemporary progress.
