The Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, received the Ambassador ofSri Lanka to Bahrain, Shanka Dissanayake.
During the meeting, the Capital Governor highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries. He noted the notable growth witnessed in various fields of cooperation. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop mechanisms of coordination and joint action in a manner that serves the aspirations and interests of both friendly countries.
For her part, the Ambassador expressed her appreciation for the warm hospitality, affirming her country’s pride in the long-standing relations of friendship and the steadily growing cooperation with Bahrain across various levels.
