Police Media personnel concludes “Anchoring” course

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Yousif Mohammed Al-Binkhalil, and Director- General of Media and Security Culture at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Mohammed bin Mohammed Bin Daina, honoured the participants in the anchoring course, organised by the News Directorate at the Ministry of Information. The course benefited a number of employees from the Security Media Directorate through an intensive training programme held from 24 December 2025 to 11 January 2026.

 

Ministry of Information Undersecretary emphasised the importance of joint training initiatives in refining the skills of national cadres and enhancing the quality of official media content. He noted that investment in specialised training is one of the fundamental pillars for developing official media performance.

 

He added that developing voice and delivery skills contributes to enhancing professionalism and clarity in conveying media messages, in line with the evolution of media tools and the diversity of its platforms, and reflects the civilised image of national institutions.

 

Director- General of Media and Security Culture Major General Mohammed bin Mohammed Bin Daina, affirmed that training, capacity building, and modern professional practices in the field of security media are important for the development and modernisation strategy launched by His Excellency, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He pointed out that digital skills and knowledge are capable of producing an effective security media message that reaches the audience and achieves the desired objectives with the required efficiency and speed. Also, the Director- General thanked the Ministry of Information for organising the course 

 

During the course, trainer Suhair Asfour presented an advanced training methodology focusing on vocal performance techniques, breath control, and voice modulation, with emphasis on correct pronunciation, improving articulation points, and addressing common delivery errors, in addition to intensive practical exercises to ensure alignment between the theoretical aspect and the requirements of media work. The course yielded positive results reflected in the participants’ technical performance, as continuous evaluations showed a tangible improvement in vocal abilities and awareness of media delivery tools.
