Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa Bin Hindi Al Mannai expressed his deep appreciation to the teams of the General Directorate of Civil Defence for their outstanding professional efforts in responding to the fire at the Heritage Village in Arad. He commended their swift response and high level of efficiency, which helped contain the fire and limit its impact, with no injuries reported.
The Governor affirmed that the governorate followed up on the incident from its earliest moments, issuing directives for immediate coordination with the relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to ensure public safety and address the repercussions of the fire in accordance with approved regulations and procedures.
He explained that coordination was carried out with the Ministry of Social Development, expressing his gratitude to the ministry for its prompt response and constructive cooperation, and for approving the provision of suitable temporary alternative housing for the affected families. This, he noted, reflects the integration of government efforts and their commitment to ensuring social stability for residents until damage assessments are completed and appropriate solutions are implemented.
