The General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation affirmed its commitment to the legal provisions applied in its centres, as stipulated in the Reformation Institution Law and its Executive Regulations. It noted the inaccuracy of what has been circulated by some social media accounts managed from abroad regarding the rights of inmates at the Inmates’ Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Jau.
The Directorate urges obtaining information from official sources and not to be misled by false or misleading information.
