The Coast Guard at the Ministry of Interior has announced a change to the operational area of the 3D marine survey project being carried out by Bapco Energies within the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The change will take effect from today, Thursday, 22 January 2026, until Sunday, 15 February 2026.
The Coast Guard stressed the importance of all seafarers, including vessel and boat operators, complying with the issued instructions and guidelines, and transiting through the designated maritime routes marked in green on the chart, in accordance with the specified coordinates. Seafarers were also urged to refrain from approaching the work area to ensure their safety and to facilitate the smooth progress of the project.
The Coast Guard explained that this change forms part of the project’s implementation phases, ensuring the continuity of technical works and the safety of maritime navigation in the area.
