Director General of Civil Defence Attends Opening of Civil Defence Services Awareness Platform

Director- General of  Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, attended the opening of the Civil Defence services awareness platform, held mark this year’s World Civil Defence Day. 
The event, hosted at Seef Mall in Manama, runs for three days from today, Thursday, until Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It features a range of programmes with the participation of several Civil Defence directorates. The Administrative Affairs Directorate, represented by the Public Relations and Awareness Section, organised an awareness exhibition presenting a series of guidance tips and safety messages, alongside competitions and interactive games utilising artificial intelligence technologies to deliver awareness messages to children. The event also includes a colouring corner, an interactive simulation of the Civil Defence mascot “Ghaith,” and displays of Civil Defence vehicles and equipment.
