The Bahrain Police forces participating in the joint tactical security exercise of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, “Arabian Gulf Security 4,” have arrived in Qatar. The exercise is scheduled to take place from 25 January to 4 February 2026. The participation reflects the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to supporting the Gulf security framework and enhancing integration and cooperation among brotherly security agencies, in a manner that serves shared objectives and safeguards the security and safety of Gulf societies.
The participation supports the implementation of the directives of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Ministers of Interior of the GCC states, aimed at raising security readiness levels, exchanging expertise, and unifying mechanisms to address various security challenges and scenarios.
The “Arabian Gulf Security 4” exercise seeks to strengthen joint coordination among security agencies, develop field capabilities, and enhance emergency response efficiency, thereby contributing to the security and stability of GCC member states.
The Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the first edition of the joint tactical exercise “Arabian Gulf Security” in October 2016.
