Major- General (Ret.) Sultan Ali Hamad Al Sulaiti devoted nearly fifty years to serving his country in the field of security. Beginning his career in 1975, he held several key positions within the Ministry of Interior, including roles in Muharraq Area Security, training, security cooperation, and the Office of His Excellency the Interior Minister, before concluding his service as Deputy Governor of Muharraq.
Throughout his career, he was widely recognised for his dedication, professionalism, leadership, and ethical conduct. He combined extensive practical experience with strong academic qualifications, earning diplomas, a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and completing numerous specialised training courses. His efforts contributed significantly to strengthening security work, improving administrative performance, and enhancing cooperation with Gulf and Arab interior ministries.
In recognition of his long and distinguished service, he received several high-level medals and honours. His Excellency, the Interior Minister, mourned the late Major- General (Ret.) Sultan Ali Hamad Al Sulaiti extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased. Senior officials, colleagues, and community leaders praised him as a loyal colleague, respected leader, and compassionate mentor who left a lasting positive impact on institutions and individuals alike. His passing at the age of 76 was deeply mourned, and he is remembered for his sincere service, integrity, and enduring national legacy.
