The Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, attended the conclusion of the first aid and firefighting training programme titled “Safety Heroes Challenge,” held at the Civil Defence School in Maameer, with the participation of 35 trainees aged 15 to 22 years.
The programme covered first aid principles and firefighting, and included an integrated rescue scenario combining both procedures. This approach enhanced both the theoretical and practical aspects of the participants’ training. The programme aims to promote a culture of public safety and preventive awareness among youth while developing students’ skills in handling emergency situations.
At the conclusion of the programme, the Director-General honoured the participants, followed by group photographs.
