The Deputy Chief of Police, Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, took part in the launch ceremony of the joint tactical exercise of the security agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, titled “Arabian Gulf Security 4,” which is hosted by Qatar.
The Deputy Chief affirmed that the Ministry of Interior’s participation in the exercise comes in implementation of the directives and decisions of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, Ministers of Interior of the GCC states, and reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to supporting joint Gulf security cooperation and enhancing the readiness of security agencies to address various challenges.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Deputy Chief and Head of the Ministry of Interior’s participating delegation expressed his appreciation to the Qatari Ministry of Interior for its warm reception and excellent organisation, wishing the exercise success in achieving its intended objectives.
