The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in cooperation with Customs Affairs, has arrested seven individuals, including three women of various nationalities, in separate incidents for possession of narcotic substances weighing approximately 10 kilograms and valued at more than BD160,000.
The directorate explained that upon receiving information regarding the incidents, search and investigation procedures were immediately carried out, leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects, who were found in possession of the narcotic substances.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science added that the seized items were secured and confiscated, all necessary legal procedures were taken, and the cases were referred to the Public Prosecution.
